Assuming we have two matrices A and B, when applying for generalized eigenvalue decomposition on (A,B), what is the difference between eigenvector corresponding to maximum eigenvalue and eigmenvector corresponding to minimum eigenvalue ?

I mean, do they represent the minimum difference between the two matrices A and B and the maximum difference between the two matrices A and B?

how is that?

thank you
