I'm trying to compute the Samuel function of the local Noetherian ring $R = mathbbZ_(2)[sqrt-3]$.
I know that the Samue function is definded as $chi(n) = ell(R/mathfrakm^n+1)$, where $mathfrakm$ is a maximal ideal and $ell$ denotes the length.
Can anyone give me a hint?

You should first try to find the maximal ideal and compute the first few values of the function.
