I am trying to understand the addition of discrete fuzzy numbers but i have problem understanding the formula that is used for the addition of discrete fuzzy numbers which is:
$A^alpha_12=minA^alpha_1+A^alpha_2leq x leq max A^alpha_1+A^alpha_2$, where
$supp(A_1)+supp(A_2)=x_1+x_2 $ , $minA^alpha_1+A^alpha_2=minx_1+x_2,$
$maxA^alpha_1+A^alpha_2=maxx_1+x_2,$
and the membership function is define as
$mu_A^alpha_1+A^alpha_2(x)=supalphain [0,1]$.
please i need an example that will illustrate how this formula will be use.
