Given same variable find two function's maximum, while one function decreasing, the other increasing trend

I am bioinformatician and i do not have a solid and deep mathematical knowledge.



I have done a grid-search analysis; i got the number of protein interactions and overlap with a confirmed correlation by changing the spearman correlation coefficient.



As the correlation is low, we get more proteins that interact with each other but confirmed overlap is less.



As we increase the threshold, we get less protein interactions but the overlap increases. So i would like to have as much as possible protein interactions and as much higher as possible overlap given correlation threshold and i do not want to have an arbitrary threshold. Is there any mathematical methods that i can get use and get the optimized correlation threshold. Below you can see small part of the data (i have 100 thresholds, 100 rows):
